Community involvement
At Georges River College Hurstville Campus, strong partnerships with parents, carers and our wider community are an important part of school life.
From partnerships with local organisations to volunteering opportunities and family engagement, we believe that working together creates a supportive and enriching environment for all. Discover how our school and community collaborate to inspire learning, foster growth, and make a positive difference both inside and outside the classroom.
Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)
Our P&C Association provides parents and carers with an opportunity to be actively involved in our school community and contribute to initiatives that benefit our students.
The P&C works in partnership with the Principal and school to:
- provide parent and community perspectives on school initiatives
- support and fund resources, programs and improvements for students
- contribute to school events and community activities
- recognise and support students and staff
- strengthen communication and connections between families and the school
- support initiatives that enhance student learning, wellbeing and belonging.
The P&C has supported a range of school initiatives and resources that directly benefit our students and contribute to improving their school experience.

Working with our community
At GRC Hurstville Campus we value strong connections with our local primary schools, families, community organisations and local businesses.
Through transition activities, community events, student programs and partnerships, our students have opportunities to connect with and contribute to the community beyond the school gates.
Get involved
We welcome parents and carers who would like to become involved in our P&C. Joining is a great way to meet other families, contribute ideas and play an active role in supporting our students and school community.
