Primary School Masterclass Program

Georges River College Hurstville Campus proudly partners with Hurstville Public School, Hurstville South Public School, Carlton Public School and Bexley Public School to deliver the Primary School Masterclass Program for Year 4, 5 and 6 students.

Through this program, students participate in engaging, hands-on masterclasses led by specialist secondary teachers. Learning experiences include creating cookies in Food Technology, making slime in Science, and designing and producing a key ring in Industrial Technology. These practical activities allow students to explore different learning areas while developing problem-solving skills, creativity and confidence.

The Primary School Masterclass Program provides students with early exposure to secondary learning environments and specialist facilities, while strengthening connections between primary and secondary schools. It reflects our shared commitment to nurturing student potential and supporting a smooth and positive transition to high school.
