Principal's Message

Our school seeks to educate students to become successful leaders and achievers in whatever field they choose following their school career. Respect, Responsibility and Excellence are our core values and these underpin all aspects of school life. We aim to provide each student with a focused and energetic learning environment to deliver the best possible education with an emphasis on the needs of each individual.

High quality learning programs which focus on literacy and numeracy, the increasing use of technology, quality middle year education programs and a gifted and talented stream are features of the school. We strive to provide quality teaching strategies to maximise the potential of all our learners. Students are challenged and engaged through authentic learning opportunities that inspire them to develop creativity, confidence and resilience to become independent and ethical life-long learners. We are partners in learning with our students and seek to deepen their knowledge, provide enriching and innovative learning experiences, while also gently urging them out of their comfort zone to attempt new challenges. The school focuses on successful transition programs to prepare students for a seamless path to senior studies or school to work pathways.

We set high expectations and work hard to ensure they are known, valued and cared for. The school’s staff is committed to effective student welfare programs, including the Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) initiative.

We value relationships and connections with the community. We encourage our students to develop respectful relationships with their peers, teachers and the broader community. We work hard to develop and sustain productive partnerships and connections with our parents, local schools, businesses and tertiary institutions.
