Excursions

Cronulla

Year 10 students are required to undertake fieldwork studies as part of their studies in the topic "Contemporary Geographical Issues". The issue that our Year 10 students are studying is Coastal Management around the Kurnell-Cronulla Region.

Students will be going on an excursion to Cronulla on Thursday 20th March, 2014 to undertake fieldwork and develop their understanding of coastal management issues.

The cost of the excursion is $12.00 which needs to be paid by the 6th March.

This cost provides for return travel for the students.

Students need to be at school by 8:30am on that day.

Travel will be by bus.They should return to school about 3pm and will be dismissed upon their return.

Students will need to bring along pencils, pens and a clipboard or folder as they will be expected to complete a fieldwork booklet on the day.  Students can wear casual clothing but enclosed footwear must be worn (no thongs or sandals).  Students are required to bring a hat, sunscreen, food and water although students will have the opportunity to purchase food at lunchtime.

No swimming will be allowedin accordance with the Department of Education restrictions on such activities.
