Commerce

Commerce provides students with the knowledge, skills, understanding and values that form the foundation on which young people make sound decisions on consumer, financial, business, legal and employment issues. It develops in students an understanding of commercial and legal processes and competencies for personal financial management. At HBHS, students have the opportunity to study two strands of Commerce – Business and Legal and hence can select this elective tailored to their interests and needs. Students are provided with opportunity to undertake excursions to such places of interest such as the courts, Parliament House and the Police and Justice Museum.
