Work Education

Work Education is an elective subject provided at GRC HBC specifically designed to meet the needs of the students. This popular elective, provides students with an opportunity to develop knowledge and a contemporary understanding of the world of work, the diverse sectors within the community, and the roles of education, employment and training systems. Issues such as the changing nature of work, the rights and responsibilities of employees and employers and current industrial legislation, develop student's knowledge of the workplace environment. Understanding and development of employability skills assist students to achieve the flexibility required for the workplaces of today and of the future.
