No prior musical knowledge is required for this course. What is needed is a desire to learn an instrument and participate in a variety of musical activities such as listening to live performances on excursions and participating in music performances such as camp, open night and presentation day. This will increase a student's understanding and appreciation of a wide variety of musical styles. Some of these opportunities will be outside school time.
